In today’s interview I speak to Irene Molodtsov, CEO of Sia Partners UK, Having started her career in manufacturing Irene quickly found her calling in management consulting and moved to KPMG to pursue her passion.When KPMG was sold to Atos, Irene and her co-founder decided the time was right to strike out on their own and do what they loved, helping organisations deliver major business transformation project. Irene has a fascinating story - fleeing the USSR as a child, Irene had to rebuild her life at a young age. Irene moved to Melbourne where she had to learn a new language, and adopt a new culture. Driven to succeed, Irene made a decision early in her life that she wanted to be successful. She worked for Pilkington glass and KPMG before deciding to branch out on her own and start Molten Consulting. Irene sold her business to Sia Partners in 2016 and now works for Sia Partners as Co-CEO of it’s UK arm. Irene started her professional career working for Pilkington in Australia. Irene then moved from industry into management consultancy at KMPG working in Hong Kong before moving to London where she ran major change initiatives across Europe. When KPMG Consulting was sold to Atos, Irene co-founded Molten in 2003 with the belief that there was a place in the market to lead with people. Molten was acquired by Sia Partners in in 2016. Irene is a passionate advocate for the Consulting industry being a ‘force for good’ in society.
