Strays, Strays, and More Strays

Hello! We are Joshua (the grandson) and Loren (the grandpa), two Navajos living on the reservation and we've noticed some things about our homeland. Join us in our morning coffee as we discuss things from strays on the reservation to sharing funny stories in both Navajo and English.

I stumbled across this podcast shortly after the first episode came out and really enjoyed it, hope you do more! I really like the idea of a bilingual, inter-generational podcast. Very cool hearing your grandpa speak Diné even if I don’t understand most of it - maybe he could even teach a few words each episode that are related to the topic? (like “dogs” “cats” etc) Could be an interesting way for non-fluent speakers to pick up new vocabulary. But yeah, looking forward to hearing more opinions :)
