THE AFFAIR explores the emotional effects of an extramarital relationship. The provocative drama unfolds when Alison and Noah meet in Montauk at the end of Long Island. New season premieres Sunday, October 4th at 10PM (ET/PT) on Showtime.

I watched all three seasons of this show hoping that the storyline would evolve. Sadly, it never happened. I won&#39;t include spoilers but here is a brief summation of the storyline - one character will apologize to another for some offensive, selfish behavior - usually cheating. That same character will almost invariably engage in cheating AGAIN within 10 minutes. Too repetitive for my taste.

What man could resist?  Stomach turning and riveting. You know it&#39;s life wrecking but you do it anyway. Great series.
