La Última Ceremonia - Part 1 (The last ceremony)

Ok so this is the Introduction episode to a podcast series call La Última Ceremonia (the end is just the beginning) which is a series about my 3-week trip to the amazon jungle where I stayed with a Shipibo family and opened up a 3-month Sama (also known as a plant diet) with a plant called Marosa. This was such a life changing experience on so many levels that I felt like I needed to document the trip. In the beginning was the WORD

How can you be sure that you are not living in some sort of a false or fabricated reality?A great movie that tries to tackle this questions is The Truman Show. Let me say that if you haven’t seen the Truman Show I suggest you do, hell even if you have, it is worth watching again because next to the Matrix, and West World it is one of the best movies about questioning the nature of reality. 

How can you be sure that you are not living in some sort of a false or fabricated reality? This is episode 29, The Principle of Gender which is principle number 7 of the seven hermetic principles. We made it, the last principle.The Principle of Gender states that:    "Gender is in everything; everything has its Masculine    and Feminine Principles; Gender manifests on all    Planes."So this principle like all the others (and you can probably guess what I am going to say) is interesting, however one of the reasons this particular principle is interesting is because unlike the other principles, the word gender has become a trigger word. This means that just uttering this word can make people feel uncomfortable or even offended. Because of this, the idea of gender and what it represents is rarely or rationally discussed

The Principle of Cause and Effect states that: "Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause;  everything happens according to Law; Chance is but a  name for Law not recognized; there are many planes of  causation, but nothing escapes the Law."So while there is a lot to unpack, one of the more interesting aspects of this principle is the idea that chance or randomness does not occur in our universe. This is interesting because if true, it means that nothing, and I mean NOTHING, ever happens randomly, instead every moment and every event that has ever occurred has happened for a reason.  And if everything happens for a reason this then implies that we are then bound to fate. And if we are bound to fate this means that everything that has happened in your life thus far, was destined to happen, that your life has been predetermined...

A couple of weeks ago I was celebrating my birthday the only way I know how...As I was enjoying my night in deep contemplation I was staring up at the night sky and a thought came over me…What exactly am I looking at?I feel like stars and the night sky is the perfect example of “the deeper you go the weirder it gets”. The Deeper You Go The Weirder It Gets

The Shadow as defined by Carl Jung: Is the unconscious aspects of our personality which the conscious ego does not identify in itself. The shadow encompasses all the different processes of our mind that take place outside of our awareness. Shadow work, then, is the process of making the unconscious conscious. It’s the process of exploring our unconscious thoughts, emotions and actions. In doing so, we gain awareness of our unconscious impulses and can then choose whether and how to act on them.

Diamonds are fascinating because they are the hardest known natural substance on Earth. The only thing that can cut a diamond is another diamond. In addition diamonds are also chemically resistant and have the highest thermal conductivity of any natural material. These properties make diamond suitable for use as a cutting tool and other applications where durability is required. So from an industrial standpoint diamonds have some real value and utility..But from a jewelry standpoint the value of a diamond is utterly worthless...

Shine Bright Like a diamond (Shadow Work)

Where does life come from? Or maybe a better question would be, where does existence come from? Existence can be defined as basically anything and everything, life, the planets, stars and solar systems. So where does it all come from?Is it all a product of some grand design, of some greater intelligence? Or is it a product of random events taking place over a near infinite time scale? Who knows?!?!This is one of life's ultimate questions and the answers or actually theories (because there is no agreeable answer) so the theoretical answers to this question have sparked a debate that has lasted well, forever, or at least as long as we humans have been able to contemplate our existence.  

Where does life come from? Or maybe a better question would be, where does existence come from? Existence can be defined as basically anything and everything, life, the planets, stars and solar systems. So where does it all come from?
