My dog Paco, passed away last year. He was 13yrs old, a great dog that had a great life …and above anything else he LOVED to ride in the car. I took him everywhere. I have a new dog now, Sadie, a Sheppard mix that I found at the local pound. It was love at first sight and we are having a great time together, except for one big thing. Sadie has yet, in the six months I’ve had her, been able to ride in any vehicle without getting sick. I so want to be able to take her with me when I go out like I did with Paco, but it is clear that it is no fun for her yet. My question is this, are there ways I can work with Sadie that will help her to be able to ride in the car without getting sick? Also, I have thought that maybe I need to relax into allowing her to be a stay at home dog? Can you help us? Join Suzy this week as she addresses these questions.

A shy dog around children, what is required?

Very boring. Uses the words &#34;Um&#34;, &#34;So&#34;, &#34;Ok&#34;, &#34;Like&#34; &amp; &#34;And&#34; a lot! Podcast is delivered as a Pet Psychic talking to her pet, so you also hear a lot of &#34;Ok, what I&#39;m getting now is...&#34;, &#34;Hmm, what&#39;s Charlie telling me now?&#34; and some really weird statement she makes after  some guy in the background suddenly starts answering her questions. I don&#39;t know if the questions are aimed at him or the dog, but it&#39;s really weird what she keeps saying afterwards. The whole podcast just creeps me out &amp; its really hard to follow what exactly is going on. 😕

"Buddy came from a shelter.  I've had him for about 4 years and he is probably 5 or 6 years old.  I don't have a backstory for him.  He was left at the shelter and lived there for about two months.  He was about to be put down when I adopted him.Buddy is great with me and Chris, my partner.  With strangers it is a different story. He exhibits fear regularly. If anyone has a hat or sunglasses on, or anything in their hand, or makes sudden movements he cowers and may growl. He also is extremely protective of me and growls when most strangers come near me.
