Trinity Bradshaw became the youngest winner of the Summerside Festival Talent Search in Prince Edward Island at age 14 and was asked to perform twice at the East Coast Music Awards before moving to Calgary in 2010.In Dec 2011, Trinity won SUGAR CRISP ‘s “The first 15” Canadian national songwriting contest, and in January 2013, she won Calgary’s Amp Radio Rock Star contest. She was Alberta’s 2014 representative in the CCMA Spotlight contest, and winner of the 2014 Boots &amp; Hearts Canadian Emerging Artist Showcase.Trinity opened for country music legend Shania Twain in Prince Edward Island in 2014.Her EP Open Skies was released in June 2014 with a kickoff show at Ranchman’s in Calgary, and entered the iTunes Canadian Country Albums Chart in the top 10 – while Never Drinkin’ Again was added to rotation on many stations across Canada.Trinity's latest country single is called Good Times.

We've got a great pair of aritst interviews this week, and they certainly contrast as far as musical styles go. First up, we bring you a conversation with on-the-rise country performer Trinity Bradshaw. A native of Prince Edward Island, Trinity now calls Calgary home and has been garnering a lot of attention and accolades of late. She's performed the Viper Room in LA, the Bluebird in Nashville, and major Canadian country festivals like the Cavendish Beach Music Festival, Big Valley Jamboree, Boots and Hearts, and Calgary Stampede. We'll speak to the Alberta CMA nominee about the year she's had and what's coming up on the horizon. Then, switching gears, we've got one of Canadian rock's hottest acts, Saskatoon's One Bad Son. Over the past couple of years, the band has had multiple radio hits, toured alongside Buckcherry, Three Days Grace, and Monster Truck, and is currently prepping for an upcoming Fall 2014 release. The songs were recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville with all-star session players Chad Cromwell (Neil Young, Emmylou Harris, Taylor Swift), Tim Marks (Taylor Swift, Jewel), Russ Pahl (Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Eric Church) and Russ Broom (Jann Arden).
