Nina C. Payne lives in Solana Beach, CA. She is a poet, novelist, wife, a mother of two, and a registered yoga instructor.  Prior to her current life, she was managing a fast paced financial services company.  After the birth of her first child in 1998, she left the corporate world to raise her children and discovered her passion for yoga. Her love of yoga goes beyond physical postures, and she finds great pleasure in studying the philosophy, psychology, and physiology of yoga.Her debut novel, Moments in Time, is strongly inspired by her real-life experiences. Having lost her brother to cancer and then her father four months later to a broken heart, it explores the obstacles many of us face and the courage it takes to overcome them.

The creation of her book, Moments in Time, was inspired by her 2012 painful experience of losing her brother to cancer and then her father four months later to a broken heart.  Her story creates an emotionally raw, yet inspirational novel.  Moments in Time tells the story of Cassandra Peyton, a vibrant soul learning to accept the impending death of her terminally ill brother.  This book explores the obstacles many of us face and the courage it takes to overcome them.She also gives advice on these topics:·       Finding the time to exercise·       Using yoga as a coping mechanism for lessening stress  ·       Staying healthy through yoga·       Using yoga to overcome trauma·       Trying to keep a family together·       Struggling to survive after unexpected loss·       Following your dream/passion when your heart isn’t it
