La fotógrafa argentina Brenda Hoffman nos muestra en su reciente exposición en París ‘Lumen Botánica’ el alma del rico y fascinante universo vegetal. Nacida en 1975 en Buenos Aires, Argentina, Brenda Hoffman vive y trabaja en París. Después de realizar estudios audiovisuales (Diseño de Imagen y Sonido, Maestría en Cine, Universidad de Buenos Aires, 1997), se desempeñó como asistente de dirección en cine y televisión, y como docente en la universidad.En Francia, alumna del ya mítico especialista en revelado Georges Fèvre, aprendió a escribir con la luz en el cuarto oscuro. La fotografía se convierte entonces en su medio de expresión. Su producción fotográfica se centra en la experimentación en el laboratorio. Sus fotografías son investigaciones formales sobre el paisaje, la flora (con la técnica de la cianotipia) y retratos mixtos con dibujo. Su obra se exhibe en Francia, Argentina, Uruguay y Reino Unido. Brenda Hoffman estuvo representada por Line Lavesque en Francia, en el festival Comptoirs Arlésiens de la Jeune Photographie de Arles.
