In today’s episode, I sit down with Jay Wick. Jay is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and host of the Coming Into Focus podcast. This is actually Jay’s second appearance on theEWpodcast and I was very happy to have him back. In this episode, Jay and I start off by discussing the new Netflix documentary, The Social Dilemma, and examine some of the ways social media affects each of us individually. We also discuss the political polarization of today and Jay puts on his therapist hat to talk about how to improve disagreements. Jay and Carlie discuss some of the challenges and sacrifices that come with making huge life changes, and they get into a discussion about faith and the dreaded "higher power" concept in Alcoholics Anonymous.
