The Wanaka Community Hub is hosting a mid winter Christmas dinner tonight - free for those who want to spread some cheer.The Upper Clutha Christmas Trust had some left over money, and decided there was need in the area to put together a full Christmas dinner to bring people together.Wanaka Community Hub Chair, Yeverley McCarthy, says they've had an outpouring of offers to help from a volunteer and financial point of view.She says there's a lot of people from all over the world stuck in the area, not being able to get home.They thought it was a nice initiative to bring some cheer and meet new people."We will have a full Christmas dinner with ham, turkey and venison hot pot. There are lots of volunteers and there's a warm, fuzzy feeling going around."LISTEN ABOVE
