Today on the Grief &amp; Healing Corner, Episode 15, we speak with Linda Findlay, founder of Journey’s of Hope Healing &amp; Health and Bereavement Cruise Seminars at Sea. Linda is a bereaved mother after the loss of her infant daughter, Aubrie. She is a published author, a Grief Support Group Facilitator, and fills the roll of “Aftercare Coordinator” for over 200 funeral homes in 25 states. She has visited and provided support for grieving families in their homes and through Funeral Homes, Hospices and faith-based organizations. Linda a lay counselor for a Christian Care Ministry in Greenville, South Carolina. Her highest honor is to enter people’s lives and help make a difference.

Linda Findlay's daughter, Aubrie, lived for exactly two hours and nine minutes. Aubrie's time on the earth was incredibly short but the impact she left on Linda was profound. What began as a support group to heal from her devastating loss morphed into an aftercare service for funeral homes and a series of books, followed by Linda's biggest undertaking yet—the Bereavement Cruise, now in its third year. She's on a mission to show grievers that joy and grief can coexist. Today we're talking about how rituals change as years go by, how important it is to acknowledge our losses (even when no one else will), and how the Bereavement Cruise got its start!
