Lance Camper, a manufacturer of ultra-lightweight composite-built travel trailers and truck campers has appointed Gary Conley as its vice president/general manager.According to a release, Conley will be under the supervision of REV Recreation Group President Mike Lanciotti.“We are very pleased to be able to promote Gary to the leadership position at Lance Camper. Gary has been an integral part of the legacy brands success of the past 40 years and has the experience to take Lance to the next level,” Lanciotti said.Conley started his career with Lance over four decades ago where he worked as a sales manager and store manager at Lance Camper Sales &amp; Service. He was later promoted to purchasing manager, where he established the first digital purchasing system for the business.For 29 years, Conley was the National Sales Manager. He created a dealer network and also helped design new products.Lance Camper’s new VP and general manager studied Marketing and Finance at California State University and has extensive experience in volunteering, including being president of the Highlander Booster Club. Among a host of accomplishments, Gary oversaw completion of the TechSolve Business Park, which is home to 13 businesses and 2,000 employees.Before coming to TechSolve, Gary was President of the Economic Development Corporation of Los Angeles County. He was also President of North Coast Harbor, Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio and oversaw development of Cleveland's lakefront, including the Great Lakes Science Center and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.With more than 40 years of experience managing economic development programs and organizations, he has led the implementation of hundreds of public and private development projects, representing billions of dollars of investment.
