David Tamihere's hoping for a fair hearing when he heads back to Court.The Court of Appeal has agreed to re-examine Tamihere's 1990 murder convictions.Tamihere told Heather du Plessis-Allan he's more confident going into this hearing than last time."I've talked to a lot of judges and magistrates and what not. I actually work where we come across a lot of judges and how they decide upon things and all that, and it's certainly changed since I was first convicted."Tamihere says the 2017 perjury conviction of a police informant was a turning point."I didn't mind going to jail for stuff I'd done, and every year I did I thoroughly deserved. When it's something that wasn't down to me, and as far as I'm concerned, most of it was manufactured."
