Highly Minogue recently returned from Melbourne where he established the Extended Family collective. Alongside throwing wild parties, Extended Family recently released a concept mix album called 'A Night Out' and raised money for Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service with their Act Virtual livestream.About the mix: I think a lot of genuine joy has been removed from music and the world. The electronic music scene has become really serious nowadays and the pandemic has put everyone in a real mood. I like getting weird and heavy too, but I wanted to hark back to the days before this war began ~ mixing some gospel and soulful house with the sun shining through the window on a 24° Sunday afternoon.
