Both Leina and Brian have backgrounds in fine dining, including stints at acclaimed Nashville restaurants like The Catbird Seat and Bastion. They have branched out to create Kisser BBQ to share their love for the Japanese food Leina grew up eating.Both Leina and Brian moved to Nashville from California and have a strong passion for providing fresh and wholesome dishes. Many of the vegetables and herbs used in their BBQ is grown in the 1,500 square foot backyard farm.

These California transplants are taking residence at the Patterson House on Sunday and Monday nights to sling what they are calling "Japanese BBQ" really because they didn't know what else to call it.
