Juan Riesco's Nini's Deli singled out by media . . . again

Nini’s Deli was a landmark restaurant of Chicago – arguably the best in the city. But when the “Summer of Love” arrived in 2020, Black Lives Matter activists made it clear that local businesses had to support their cause – or else. Juan Riesco helped run Nini’s Deli, along with his family. He faced these demands and a growing chorus of social media intimidation. Grounded in his Christian faith, he knew that all lives mattered; all people were made in the image of God. But that same faith resisted the pressure campaign to support BLM and its anti-Christian agenda. So Juan and his family took a stand and refused to cave. That decision came with a steep price tag. They lost their business and their property was trashed. The Riescos received multiple death threats and had to flee the city for their lives.
