Suter is the owner of that big, booming voice you can hear roaring out of Brooklyn into the heart of North America and beyond.  Alexis P. and her band are on the rise as accolades pour in and they continue to captivate audiences from town to town.  Miss Suter and her powerful and unique ensemble artfully blend the lines between Blues, Soul, Roots and Rock music. Alexis' voice ranges from a pained passion to explosive and soul bearing. When the great Bluesman B.B. King first heard Alexis sing, he was visibly impressed and said so after her opening set for him at BB Kings in NYC. Shaking his head in wonder in his characteristic way, he remarked….“It’s a rare thing to share the stage with great talent like that young lady.”Alexis has earned similar honors from other well-known musicians and performers including Dan Aykroyd and Levon Helm of The Band. Suter and her band have been blazing trails and taking their music to festivals and venues both nationally and internationally.Suter is currently touring in support of her upcoming release BE LOVE.  APSB take modern blues and roots music in new directions, pushing the form just a bit beyond its normal boundaries with Suter's  powerful, deep soulful voice charging forward.

Maybe It’s A Good Thing, their third release, is a collection of 12 originals, showcasing their duet vocal sound. We’ll talk about their careers and how they came together and where they are heading.Katy Guillen &amp; The Girls (Claire Adams and Stephanie Williams) woke up the Blues world with their 2014 performances at the International Blues Challenge.  Since then, they have toured and won fans wherever they performed.  The new album is Heavy Days and I will chat with Katy about the road she has taken to get where she is today.Alexis P Suter returns to The Couch with her new album, All For Loving You.  We’ll talk about the album, her BMA Nomination in 2015, and what she has been doing since she appeared back in August of 2014.

After a week of travel as a Tortured Soul, being MC at the Tall City Blues Fest and just having a qwonderful time, we get back to business with another episode of Music On The Couch.Alastair Greene formed his first blues rock trio back in 1997 and over the years it has included alumni of the Steve Miller Band, Paul Butterfield Band and Junior Wells Band..and that is saying a lot!The new album is entitled Trouble At Your Door and Alastair will be joining me to talk about his journey and the new music.While I was at Tall City, Chejimi Patricola was at the PA Blues Fest...we will discuss both festivals and what is coming up for Jimi in the coming month.Alexis P Suter is coming to The Couch for the first time and we are lucky to have her appear the night before her new album, Love The Way You Roll drops.Alexis and I will talk about her amazing journey and where she wants to go next.Finally, COUCH KID NEW MUSIC brings back Arsen Shaomakov to share his new album Dynamic with us.
