In this week’s #DataTalk, we chat with Michiel Rauws about conversational AI chatbots for mental health. This data science video series is part of Experian’s effort to help people understand how data-powered decisions can help organizations develop innovative solutions. Michiel Rauws used to be a mental health patient 10 years ago, and that is why he founded X2 AI – a company that provides emotional support through conversations with an AI Chatbot. Over 8,000,000 people have paid access to the service, and thousands of employers. 6 published studies, 4 in review, and over 10 ongoing studies are proving the efficacy of the service. X2 has customers in three verticals: 1. Employers / EAPs 2. Healthcare Systems 3. Higher Education – and work with companies such as IBH (EAP) Corp, County of Monterey, Northwestern University, and AON Hewitt. Michiel holds the position of chief executive officer, after previously gaining experience in corporate finance, risk insurance, and innovation working for a variety of companies, including IBM and Marsh / Mercer.
