[include file=get-in-itunes.html]      We had a really great conversation today about recall healing with Dr. Pieter DeWet from QHI Wellness center in Tyler Texas. He’s originally from South Africa but studied with holistic doctor David Steenblock in Orange County California many years ago. Dr. Pieter DeWet has a whole new paradigm of where disease comes from and where it originates from in our bodies. Dr. DeWet’s contention (and I believe he’s correct) is that there is a spiritual and emotional or perhaps energetic connection at the heart of the disease process in our bodies. Have you ever heard that, “it’s all in your head”? Well our minds (which control our energy and perhaps emotion) might be what causes disease in our bodies. It’s not that the disease is in the mind and doesn’t exist in the body, it’s that there could be a very real causative relationship between the mind and the body when it comes to how diseases like cancer proliferate. Consider the fact that trapped emotions and energetic “baggage” could be causing your cancer or heart disease. Doesn’t that sound strange? In my opinion how we deal with our emotions and energy on a spiritual level is the determining factor in how healthy we are. As we know everything is energy and vibration. If we have emotions that we don’t allow to be moved out of the body, what happens to them? Is there a potential that these emotions (which are simply low energy vibrations) could affect our physical biology and cell growth? Can we eradicate disease by dealing with the emotional side of life? How does stress management in terms of prayer and meditation play a role in the disease process? Is it possible to prevent colds, flu’s heart attacks, cancer, diabetes and the rest of it by dealing with the emotions? Dr. Pieter DeWet says yes and I think he’s absolutely correct. He truly takes a holistic approach to health and healing. He doesn’t leave out healing modalities like sweating, chelation therapy, homeopathy and cleansing but these physical protocols are simply adjuncts to the bigger picture in his healing paradigm. Dr. Pieter DeWet is truly one of the most fascinating people we’ve spoken with. Who knew that cancer was the body’s way of healing? He pursued a career in academic medicine at UT Health Center starting immediately after his residency until he left UT Health Center in 1997 to go into private practice. Dr. DeWet was associate professor of family medicine and associate program director of the family practice residency program. He was intimately involved in the development of numerous chronic disease management programs at the University of Texas Health Center. He was also the founder and director of the Center for Nutrition Preventive Medicine there from 1995-1997. Dr. DeWet has been co-host of a nationally syndicated radio program called Healthy, Wealthy &amp; Wise since 2004. He and his wife Cindi are where hosting their own XM radio program called “The Quantum Healing Hour” on SIRUS XM 131, weekdays from 4 to 5PM CST (5 to 6 PM. EST). Now Dr. DeWet can be found on Toginet Internet Radio, Live from 2-3PM CST (3-4PM EST). Dr. DeWet has spent his entire career in medicine starting from the time he entered medical school to search for the most effective, least harmful and the most cost effective methods to treat patients with complex health challenges, and currently treats patients from all around the country and worldwide for diseases and health conditions ranging from the most simple to some of the most complex. Dr. Pieter DeWet – Heal Thyself – Is Disease Itself The Body’s Attempt To Heal?

 Today we had Dr. Pieter DeWet who is the author of Heal Thyself  as well as Bringing Sexy Back: Transform the Body You Have into the Body You Want on the show to talk about recall healing and how emotions, spirituality and even our ancestors play a role in our health. There’s a lot of talk in the biohacking community that light, water and magnetism are the root cause of disease and on a physical level that is true. But how electrons, neutrons and protons work in the body is the result of an invisible process that is much deeper than that which dances between the physical and the spiritual. I believe that all of our health challenges are deeply rooted in our family’s ancestry and invisible control mechanisms that lie in the highest sides of ourselves. Some call this our life force, our soul or spirit or our subconscious. Something beyond the physical is at play here controling the master switches of things that deep our corporeal bodies. This is where emotional and spiritual connection play the deepest role in finding real healing in our somatic bodies. Sure our genetic expression is controlled by mitochondria which are in turn controlled by photons, frequency and electricity but what controls how these electrons interact with each other inside our body? If we want to get to the deepest levels of health and healing we must move beyond the physical and quantum levels. We must tap into that which controls the entire show.
