Former Player Special #2 - Mark Hone

Our Chris Wynn is back this week with a man who happens to have played in an era Chris specialises in - current match summariser for the Imps at BBC Radio Lincolnshire and former Crystal Palace, Southend United and Lincoln City defender - the lovely Mark Hone! Chatting about his time as a player for a bit before delving into the current state of affairs at Sincil Bank, and ahead to Saturday's game.  What's the crack? First things first - how was it coming up under Steve Coppell at Crystal Palace? In our second episode Nigel Jones interviews Welling United's club legend and fans favourite Mark Hone as part of the Where are they now  series featuring former players. Mark explains how his career started at Crystal Palace and how he first came to Park View Road, why he left - and returned -and his life after Welling. We hear about the memories of our only FA Cup win against league opposition where Mark scored the winner against Gillingham in 1989.Episode recorded April 2021
