When a person becomes an addict, his or her whole family becomes entangled in the chaos of addiction. How can families understand their own feelings while trying to help the ones they love? We speak with Donna Jacobsen, a facilitator of a parent and family support group for anyone who is a caretaker to someone who suffers from drug or alcohol addiction. Donna tells us this is a family disease but there is hope for a future without dependence.
