My guest is Giovanna Healy. She is an entrepreneur and co-founder and Executive Director at Sisters Of Strength. She was born in Colombia and spent several years of her life in Europe while attending school. She migrated to California a decade ago and made Los Angeles her home. When Giovanna became a single mother, she faced homelessness, unemployment, and challenging times. Still, regardless of her circumstances, she could push through and get a scholarship to go back to school and get a degree. Giovanna received her Master's degree from Loyola Marymount School of Education. She brings over ten years of experience in the education field as an educator, program developer, and trainer.
