In this episode of The Leader Insights Series, I get the chance to sit down with the highly engaging Lawrence Trist. Lawrence is the Managing Director for the Finsbury Food Group Cake division, the 2nd biggest cake manufacturer in the UK with a 20% market share and a workforce of over 2,000 people, across 3 manufacturing sites. After graduating with a degree in Retail Marketing, Lawrence’s very first job was in the Food industry. Over a 25 year period he’s successfully progressed through companies such as Allied Bakeries and the Finsbury Food Group but he’s also experienced running his own business. Since joining the Finsbury Food Group in 2009 he’s been Sales Director, Commercial Director and in 2017 became the Managing Director for the Cake Division. His legacy involves building high performing teams, achieving a market-leading presence and increasing revenue substantially. Enjoy!
