Mitchell East (L: @Mitchell East) is a passionfruit, avocado, cattle and sheep Farmer in the Southern Forests Region of WA with a keen interest in Regenerative agriculture and community development. They have developed an on farm passionfruit processing facility which has enabled us to utilise 100% of our passionfruit crops, making it a zero waste enterprise, giving us the ability to buy what was normally unsellable fruit from other farmers and give them a return for their waste. Currently working with five other farmers who have also been able to minimise their waste and gain additional returns for their crops. With this processing we have been able to develop new products with other companies such as ciders, wines, cordials, seltzers and ice cream.
