How have you been ladies &amp; gentlemen, in this very quick episode of A Talks Mics today I talk about a really stupid issue I faced for more than 3 months now with my new laptop and which kinda had a relatively quick solution, if you by any chance use a dell laptop and your laptop is making huge fan noise you might want to look into downloading something called Dell Power Manager from their official website https://www.dell.com/support/contents/en-in/article/product-support/self-support-knowledgebase/software-and-downloads/dell-power-manager or from the windows store in form of an app, you can then access the Thermal Management from the said utility and turn down down your fan noise by selecting an appropriate setting which might suit your requirements. On purpose I have not done any kind of processing on the audio of this episode so you can listen to how quieter things have gotten from earlier when I wasn't able to even record anything without encountering that disturbing fan noise.  Remember this only solves the issue of fan noise if everything else is working fine with your device, in case there are some other issues that may be triggering your loud fans, you may want to look somewhere else.  Hoping this helps, and I shall see you in the next one!

In this episode, I’m talking with Simon Glenister, Director of Noise Solution, a social enterprise based in Bury St Edmunds which provides 1-1 music mentoring programmes using music technology for young people in challenging circumstances |||| Noise Solution is interesting for a number of reasons.
