Welcome back to Season 3 of I Hope I Get It the podcast where we share our stories from the audition room.In the first episode of Season 3 host Actress Tarryn Steyn is joined by South African Actress, Singer and Dancer Kirsten Murphy Rossiter.Born and raised in the beautiful city of Cape Town, Kirsten trained at The Waterfront TheatreCollege for 4 years. In 2010, fresh out of theatre school Kirsten landed one of her dream rolesplaying Marty (U/S Sandy) in Grease the musical, touring New Zealand and Hong Kong and SA.Most recently Kirsten performed the role of Claire in Ordinary Days produced by Square PeggedProductions, a production company that she started with two friends. Previous stage creditsinclude three seasons of The Fugard Theatre’s production of West Side Story . Kirsten was cast in David Kramer’s production of Some Like it Vrot.Tinkerbell in Peter Pan.. She played Francine in the Jersey Boys touring company which toured SA, Singapore, Istanbul and Kuala Lumpur. Kirsten recently played the character Fit Bitch in the South African tv series Tali’s Baby Diary.When Kirsten is not performing she runs her own business called Kirsten Murphy Makeup andworks as a makeup artist and hairstylist.

She educates us on the latest systems changes and how the voice and participation of people with disabilities is supported in those activities. We were very excited to be joined on The PEAKS Life by long time friend Kirsten Murphy.  Kirsten is a longevity biohacker and keto coach. She grew up in Perth, Australia, and studied Sports Science in the early 90s when carb-loading for physical performance and low-fat-everything was all the rage. All of her nutrition beliefs were turned on their head in 2009 when she started training at her local CrossFit gym and learnt about the Paleo Diet. Kirsten's own personal transformation inspired her and husband Match to set up one of Australia's first CrossFit gyms, Cooee CrossFit, in Perth in 2010. However, a health scare in 2016 led to the discovery of the Keto Diet and a major shift in lifestyle, work and home for both of them.
