Going Viral: Prof Kristine Macartney on the recent Australian school study on COVID risk in schools

A new study has looked at the spread of Covid-19 at New South Wales schools from nine teachers and nine students with the disease.It's found only two children caught the disease from those people at school.There was no evidence of children infecting teachers.Lead researcher Kristine Macartney told Mike Hosking there are very low rates of infection of Covid-19 among children and if they do get it, they have mild symptoms.She says viruses, like influenza, spread very quickly throughout schools but Covid 19 doesn't.LISTEN ABOVE
