Health and wellness have become a huge topic within recent years as the world comes off of an addiction to fast food. Many have turned to alternative health options from being a vegetarian to using essential oils. One of the healthy options that many do not talk about as much is meditation. As a business owner, spouse, parent etc there are many stresses throughout the day. Meditation is an option that is now even being looked at in schools to calm children down and help them to focus. When our guest today found herself wanting to heal the world she was immediately drawn to meditation. Born intuitive, spreading healing since a very young age in India, Durga touched so many lives all over the world. After a circuitous journey, including moving to the United States and obtaining a master’s degree, and working in the tech industry for over a decade, Durga realized her true calling was in helping others heal. Even her Engineering studies and decade long career in corporate couldn’t keep her separated from her work.When other kids were busy partying she was busy healing and working towards her certification in coaching, perfecting her skills and serving the World. She has been teaching stress management techniques, Yoga, Meditation for 15+ years starting from small kids age 3 and up, teenagers, university students, and Adults.Every cell of her body was happy when she was healing in all her roles.She is a certified yoga and Meditation teacher, Marma therapist, Relationship and Spiritual coach.The spirit kept telling her that she should dive into this WORLD completely even though her technical brains said otherwise. Then in 2013 Durga took the leap of faith and founded Be Free Now LLC by leaving her flourishing career in corporate to do what she loves doing the best healing and serving the World.“Through my healings, coaching and other modalities, I am able to assist others in getting in touch with their innermost being and through a deeper knowing within themselves, eventually feel empowered.
