Brandon Darner is a songwriter, performer, and producer. He is an active member of alt rock group The Envy Corps. Brandon has a rich musical history in Des Moines that saw a small stint in the mighty Slipknot, which eventually led to fronting To My Surprise along with Shawn Crahan (Slipknot, Dirty Little Rabbits) and Steve Robinson (Smiling Jack). He worked with Hollywood elite like Rick Rubin, to eventually finding himself back in Iowa where he joined up with The Envy Corps and continues to produce records with national and local talents. He gives his two cents on what it takes to build a strong band structure and given his credentials, he knows a thing or three.
