As we continue our Mental Health Awareness Series, I am excited welcome, Abbie Miller, Professional Photographer and Founder of The Good Side Project.  Abbie is the owner of Stories Framed Photography based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her specialty is portrait photography for families, kids, high school seniors and businesses. While running a successful business for eight years, there was something else she was drawn to do. Between a lot of contemplation, personal experience and listening to people talk, The Good Side Project was born. This is a passion project focusing on starting the conversation about mental health. Abbie photographs people who volunteer to share their stories, their struggles and their wins. Their REAL STORIES. The goal of the project is to simply start an open dialog about real life with mental health. The Good Side Project w/ Abbie Miller

For whatever reason, bullying has come up quite a bit lately. It’s such a terrible thing for someone to experience. But I keep finding that many times, people who have persevered come out on the other side stronger and more confident. Abbie Miller is one such person. She’s a riot. She’s brilliant. And she’s strong. Abbie’s been through the ups and the downs. She’s moved several times…she’s actually been told, read threatened, to NOT start a business…and then she did just that in a brand new market. And she’s killing it.
