ENJOY THIS EPISODE: Dr. Mark Acierno earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University before completing his Doctorate, Dr. Mark Acierno also from Boston University. Dr. Mark practiced in a corporate physical therapy facility in California before moving to Frederick. With twins on the way, he opened Frederick Sport and Spine Clinic and later enlarged to include Middletown and Urbana Sport and Spine. Dr. Mark is extremely client oriented. If something isn’t working for his client, he will keep trying to find the right remedy. Dr. Mark focuses on teaching his clients how to take care of themselves in order to prevent further injury; he wants to teach his clients to become their own physical therapists, through rehabilitation and prevention practices.
