In 1985, a small cadre of FBI Agents were hand-picked to receive training in what was then called “Psychological Profiling.”  Pete was fortunate to have been chosen to be a part of this elite group of original profilers.  Extensive training followed, and in addition to his regular investigative responsibilities, Pete was the Profiling Coordinator for the Omaha Division which encompassed Iowa and Nebraska.Pete worked with agencies in the Midwest on violent crime cases in addition to training hundreds of officers in the newly-implemented “Psychological Profiling” program.LIFE AND CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:•Four years on submarines with two tours in Vietnam – 1965 and 1966•Nine years working with the Ventura Police Department in California•Bachelor’s Degree, Criminal Justice, Metropolitan State University, Denver, CO•Master’s Degree, Criminal Justice, California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks, CA•Master’s Degree, Public Administration, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA•Finished first in Police Academy Class, Ventura County, California•International Assoc. of Credit Managers - 1999 National Law Enforcement Officer of the Year•Numerous awards and decorations through the FBI•National award winner for first two books published: “FBI Diary: Profiles of Evil” and         “FBI Animal House”•Federal Bureau of Investigation (1979-1999)  Assignments in: Los Angeles; Cedar Rapids, Iowa;       Omaha, NE; Grand Junction, CO•Pikes Peak Community College   Colorado Springs, CO (2000-2013)              Department Chair and Associate Professor of Criminal Justice              Retired in May of 2013 after 13 years teaching/administrative  duties              Developed the first course in “Criminal Profiling” for Colorado colleges•     Criminal Profiling Associates  Colorado Springs, CO (2013 to Present)          Founder and Direct
