Chasing Rainbows by Tomato/Tomato I want to tell you a bit about Tomato/Tomato. As I mentioned the pair is from New Brunswick Canada otherwise known as the place where we store the hand-down nicest Canadians in the country. Tomato/Tomato have received nominations from ECMA, Music NB, and the Canadian Folk Music Awards, winning awards for Group Recording of the Year, SOCAN Song of the Year, and an award for Hardest Working Artist. It’s true, the band has released two new singles – the other is called better at leaving – both of which are great and all in a matter of weeks. He’s performed at venus all over the world including Europe, all over Asia and even across parts of North America. Cassara has opened for Shawn Mendez and Tyler Shaw. I’m digging Cassara as an artist right now because he’s taking his personal persona to new places and you know what new things and interesting things are good. Nick Babcock and Laila Kharouba have been making music together for the better part of a year and making an impression in the Ontario scene. The two write heartbreaking tracks about love while they experience it for themselves first hand. The two make honest, raw, heartbreaking, and reassuring music all at once. Their new track is a song about those times in a relationship, when things are rocky, and how it’s often easier to fall into each other’s arms again, rather than deal with the real problems at hand. It’s beautifully written and composed and proof positive that these two are consistently upping their game. This is the new track by Your Paris, it’s called Rooms.  Beauty of a song that one. New Ones at Noon E20: Tomato/Tomato, Andrew Cassara, and Your Paris

Andrew Cassara is a Canadian-born Pop/Rock recording artist from Ottawa, Ontario. Teaming with the team at SGMGroupArtists, Andrew has been developing his talents with great devotion and an unwavering work ethic.   Since 2013, he has consistently released new music while performing live both domestically and internationally, and he is establishing an ever-growing worldwide fan base after touring through places like South Korea, Sweden, Singapore, and Japan.  Andrew released a compilation of his early work entitled ‘The Big Bang’ in 2018, showcasing where he started as he began to move into a different style of music that felt more true to the heart.  That transition has now culminated in the release of Andrew’s first full length album ‘Freak On Repeat’, a funk driven ride that will leave wanting to come back for more, feeling exhilarated all over again. Now it’s time to finally share this full embracement of the new sound with his fans and followers worldwide, while helping lift their spirits with undeniable dance floor grooves. Canadian singer, songwriter, guitar player (Ottawa, Ontario) who has performed internationally – and that doesn’t just mean Canada.  When he was 16 years old he became a social media sensation and eventually amassed over 250 thousand followers on Twitter, plus he was ranked Number 1 on ReverbNation in Canada.  His newest single (heard at the end of this episode) was added by Spotify having added it to the 2019 Hits Viral Playlist.  He's aiming for a new album release by late 2019.
