Today I am joined by Byron Jabara. Byron is the host of the BJJ Brick podcast along with his buddies Gary and Joe, where they talk about you guessed it Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Byron started training BJJ in 2002, and he received his black belt in 2014. At some point in his jiu-jitsu journey, he met some firefighters who made the job seem pretty enticing, so he joined the Fire Service in 2008. I've long been interested in the martial arts, though I've never trained in them, and I had a great time hearing the lessons that BJJ has taught Byron throughout the years and how he's been able to apply them to his fire service career.
