Trek it Out is conceived as a general interest Science Fiction podcast. In producing this show, our intention is to provide an outlet for news, interviews and opinions on topics that are not directly related to the main interest of Priority One, Star Trek Online. This episode on Trek It Out, we interview a man who was instrumental to shaping the sound of the Star Trek Universe – Mr. Doug Grindstaff! Douglas Grindstaff, Emmy award winning Sound Editor and Designer who inspired the Star Wars sound designers to create Darth Vader's voice, and created many of The Original Series sound effects we have come to identify with Star Trek, and headed up the Star Trek sound department.
