Troy Baisden: Government accused of investing in the wrong environmental research

Massey University is under enormous pressure, over proposals which could cut its science staff by more than a third.The University has sent out a discussion document to staff setting out cost-cutting measures.The Association of Scientists says the scope of the cuts are beyond alarming.Association President Professor Troy Baisden told Heather du Plessis-Allan that this is alarming due to the sheer magnitude of the cuts. "If that happens, it's very hard to imagine how basic education would remain intact and together."LISTEN ABOVE
