Robert Markus, loyal human, hilarious gent, and star of Toronto’s Dear Evan Hansen is here with Jen and Ky!While enjoying a vodka soda and lime, we chat with Robert all about his journey with Dear Evan Hansen. We learn about his process and how he keeps Robert mentally and physically healthy so that he can play the demanding role of ‘Evan’ every night. We also learn that Robert is a talented song writer, and that he can do an Aussie accent way better than Ky will ever be able to do. Robert is a Canadian treasure. He is currently playing Evan in Dear Evan Hansen, he has played title roles at the Stratford Festival including Tommy in Tommy, and Riff Raff in Rocky Horror. He’s had a season at the Shaw Festival (Sweeney Todd, Our Town), and played iconic roles such as Gabe in Next to Normal (Theatre Calgary/Citadel Theatre), and Mary Sunshine in Chicago (Mayfield Dinner, Drayton Entertainment)   Come hang with us, grab a drink (if you’re not driving) and get your weekly fix of musical theatre banter, with beverages.
