On today’s episode of The Wow Factor, we are joined by Dr. Tammy Born Huizenga, owner and operator of The Born Clinic in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was raised in the small town of Princeton, Minnesota and knew, growing up, that she wanted a profession in the medical field. Dr. Born Huizenga received her undergraduate degree from Calvin College and graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1986. During her 2nd year of medical school, she interned for Dr. Grant R. Born who introduced her to holistic and alternative medicine. Dr. Born Huizenga focused her commitment to the Lord when her husband passed away at the time of the expansion of The Born Clinic. She has been a member on a number of medical advisory &amp; educational committees, some of which were appointed by Presidents George W. Bush and Donald Trump.
