In this episode, I am joined by the incredible Jaime Hepburn: entrepreneur, creative, yoga teacher, retreat host, and founder of The Yoga Library online platform and Basic Space Studio in London.  I supported Jaime with the digital strategy and paid Facebook and Instagram ads for both of these businesses in 2020/21 so I enjoy hearing what the journey was like since then.  Please if you do not know of Basic Space, please go and check out their Instagram immediately as it is very easy on the eye and some of my questions might make a bit more sense when we are discussing the creative vision + marketing.  We speak about the realities of running a small independent studio and despite now making a return + looking for a bigger studio space, Jaime recently nearly threw in the towel. Jaime Hepburn’s story is one of huge admiration. She found yoga through a lengthy journey of not feeling as though she had the right to belong, and from this has paved her way in the yoga-sphere.    In this episode we discuss how as a teenager she was kicked out of home, which led to unhealthy romantic relationships and how she found her way when she freed herself.   Find Jaime at Core Collective (45 Phillimore Walk, W8 7RZ); in her classes you won’t hear her recite passages in Sanskrit, and she won’t ask you to push your body into places it doesn’t want to go.
