He started the American Cinema Editors' Diversity Mentorship Program after editor Lilian Benson did an informal count several years ago and found that there were fewer than 25 people of color in the organization. In episode 26 of the Hollywood Editing Mentor Podcast, Troy will dive deep into mentoring - what it means to be mentored, how you can mentor other people, and why it's so important in the post production industry. He'll also break down his mentoring process and give advice on how you can find your own mentors.
