Es ist Sommer. Wer sehnt sich auch so sehr danach, mit einem e-Moped durch die Gegend zu flitzen? Warum fristet Moped Sharing hierzulande eigentlich so ein Nischendasein? Und woran liegt es, dass Moped-Sharing so gut zu Stadtwerken und in Kleinstädte passt? Mein heutiger Gast in dieser letzten Folge vor meiner Sommerpause ist Enrico Howe. Passend zum Sommer und angefixt durch die letzten schönen Ausfahrten hatte ich einfach Lust, über eines meiner Lieblingsfahrzeuge zu sprechen: e-Mopeds. Enrico ist hierzulande der! Experte für Moped Sharing und ist überzeugt davon, dass sie nun nach gehörigem Wachstum in Flottenanzahl und Nutzerzahl die vierte Säule im Sharing-Mix neben Autos, Fahrrädern und Kickscootern darstellen. E-Mopeds, diese elektrifizierte Version des italienischen Kultobjekts namens Vespa fristen nämlich ein Nischendasein und das, obwohl sie für die meisten Fahrten das viel bessere Fahrzeug sind. Ich nenne hier mal nur die Stichworte Platz- und Energieverbrauch und den einmaligen Fahrspaß! Warum das so ist und wie sich das gerade ändert, das wollte ich von Enrico wissen und so cruisen wir vorbei an den naheliegenden Themen wie Verkehrsentlastung, Fahrzeugtypen und Eignung für verschiedene Nutzergruppen um steigen dann auch noch ein in Themen wie Lizenzen, Sondernutzungsgenehmigungen und den starken Gender-Bias, welcher mich erstaunt hat und definitiv ein Problem ist.  Mich beeindruckt mit welcher Souveränität und Begeisterung Enrico dieses Thema für sich entdeckt und zudem das öffentliche Narrativ mitbestimmt. Und da wir mit unserem Schritt in die Selbstständigkeit und unserer Arbeit gewisse Parallelen festgestellt haben, fand ich es schön, dass Enrico das Gespräch zum Ende hin noch gekapert hat und wir so über unsere jeweiligen Erfahrungen als selbstständige Impulsgeber in dieser Zeit der Mobilitätswenden austauschen. Es lohnt sich also bis zum Ende dranzubleiben.
