The rise of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement has been an incredible presentation of strength and tenacity in the wake of so much tragedy throughout these last few months. Although protests and conversations surrounding racial inequality have been an ongoing issue for so long, the recent death of George Floyd has sparked something in communities across the globe that has reignited a crucial need for change. In today’s episode, I’m joined by esteemed Researcher and Co-Founder of the Academic Journal ‘Third Stone’, Myrtle Jones! Halliburton Co. is consulting with numerous external advisers to help understand the 2017 tax overhaul, especially provisions for which the IRS hasn’t issued final rules. The law cut Halliburton’s effective tax rate by 10 percent this year and gave the company a more level playing field against its foreign-based competition.
