Lang was trained in live performance when he worked for a company just out of high school. Since then, he has accumulated over 30 years of experience working in the music industry. He's played, sung and shared the stage with artists such as Grammy and Dove award winners Michael W. Smith, Rich Mullins, and Michael McDonald to name a few.  His involvement in the Rock, Pop, Country and CCM music industries, has included work as a songwriter for BMG publishing, and as an artist with BlissBliss which brought the label their first #1.
