Darcy Razo… licensed foster mama for over 20 years. She worked for Child Protective Services. She has been a CASA volunteer and has worked in the justice system. 264 foster kiddos in their home and hearts! I think she can teach us a think or two 😉

“When I don't see him for 6+ months at a time, and then I do; it’s like butterflies all over again - like having our first kiss.” Meet Maura. Wife to Tim, Naval Aviator for the US Navy, and mom of two. It takes great bravery, strength, and perseverance to be in the military and we are so grateful to those who serve for our country. It also takes an incredible amount of bravery, strength, and perseverance to be a military spouse. To not know how long your spouse will be gone for, or their exact location for that matter. To go through pregnancy, labor and delivery during deployment.But every hard moment is washed away, Maura says, when she gets to see her husband at homecomings. And these are the feelings she holds on to during deployment: the feeling of happiness at homecoming and how proud she is of her courageous husband.During this week’s episode, Maura will give us a peek inside her world as a Navy wife: how she makes sure her children know Dad is with them at all times.
