Bridget Carmady lost her dad and her sister to skin cancer and then went on a mission to empower others to look after their skin. She started by making a cream to help her Dad alleviate the pain from his cancer treatment and eventually built up a highly successful international business, Clemence Organics. Bridget’s story is both poignant and inspiring… what an amazing woman!   See some of Bridget’s top tips below:   There’s a lot to be said for the theory of “if you can’t find it, do it yourself.” This certainly worked for Bridget.   Don’t waste time doing something you don’t want to do. Life is too short!   Never forget that the purpose of a product is to serve a particular need. Testing to prove this need is just as important as the conceptual phase.   Be careful to not make all of your products for ‘everybody’. It’s better to fully serve the need of fewer people than it is to water down your concept in order to reach a wider audience.
