Live performance art is valuable to technological innovation in emerging media where real-time audience engagement is often missing. ‘ An artistic experience in Mixed Reality immerses audience inside the experience of the media, rather than the media inside the audience. Instead of layering content (visual, kinetic, audio); the focus is on creating content, native to the media opera format, as well as on offering a sensory experience (sonic, kinetic, visual) which is digitally manipulated and enhanced for a live audience.
