Alessandra Paonessa is a Toronto born classical crossover soprano and recording artists known for her rich tone and bell like clarity. Her flexible voice allows her to sing in an array of styles including popular music, operatic aria and sacred music.From a young age Alessandra’s talents was nurtured. As she continued to display much interest in classical music and an incredible determination to fulfill her dream of becoming an international artist she began to take voice lessons and performed her first recital at the age of 15.Winning many competitions and taking Royal Conservatory grades in her youth, Alessandra is a graduate of York Universities Bachelor of Fine Arts- Music degree. During this time she was awarded The Sterling Beckwith Award, given to students who demonstrate exceptional promise and ability in performance.Alessandra is rising sought after recording artists. Most recently Alessandra released her debut album, an international collaboration, ‘Remembering Heaven’ (November 2014) which features the original work of British composer, Chris Broom and the orchestra of Air-Edel Studio. The album is currently being aired on WQLN 91.3FM, KUCO 90.1FM, CJPX 99.5FM and WMKY 90.3FM which reach listeners across Canada and North America.
