Welcome back to the 310 podcast.  In this episode Kris Germain and Jeff Williams welcome back health coach extraordinaire Jen McMhaon.  She is a nutrition, health, and fitness coach who loves running, eating lot of broccoli, and having occasional dorito!!!    The meat of the podcast centers around the problem with the way most gyms are doing Nutrition Challenges and how CrossFit 310 has turned their Nutrition Game upside down to address the problem of "White Knuckling" your way through things and Utlimately failing again and again. EP11: "Nutrition Breakthrough Instead of More Fool's Gold" with Jen McMahon

This week Kris Germain and Will Jones get candid with Jen McMahon and the world about nutrition, as they embark on a quest for something better for everyone. Here's the thing, Kris Germain thinks that most every gym is not handling nutrition very well--including his.  The workout is sexy and it gets a lot of deserved attention on social media, but in the wake of the current "do brutal workouts" craze, nutrition has fallen to the wayside.  So has our general health and recovery.  Talking in generalities about nutrition and hosting a challenge a couple times a year isn't helping enough people. In this episode Kris gets transparent about his search for a better way to engage nutrition for the people he's fighting for in his community.  Jen McMahon is a Health Coach who graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and she joins Kris and Will to start shining a light on ways to approach your own nutrition (Bio Diversity). This week Jen tells us where she starts with nearly everyone (and it's probably not what you think!), Will hits a Pun-PR thanks to Alicia Silverstone, we battle continuously to keep Jen on the microphone, and one of Will's tattoos wins Kris' admiration. Stories change lives through motivation and inspiration.  Our goal is to inform and inspire anyone who might be listening.  If it makes you laugh too, then it's worth something.  The people who run around our gym have stories that are exciting and motivational. Special guests will have knowledge and perspective that we can all gleen value from.   We all have the power to inspire.  Sometimes we just need a platform. Who knows which episode changes you.
