Joining us today in the Deep End is Varun Bhanot. Varun is the co-founder and CEO of Magic AI, a home fitness system that uses AI to give you personalised training on a beautifully designed mirror. Prior to building Magic AI, Varun was the co-founder and CEO of Unhoused, a non-profit that leveraged technology to reduce homelessness. He also participated On Deck Founder’s third cohort. In this conversation, we discuss Varun’s approach to health &amp; longevity. We cover his personal weight loss and gym journey, why European health tech startups have received less attention from the market and what the future holds for longevity companies.

From Personal Health Transformation to Magic AI with Varun Bhanot

The BAE HQ welcomes Varun Bhanot, co-founder and CEO of Magic and co-founder of Unhoused.org. Magic is an AI fitness start up which aims to scale hyper-personalised personal training through using technology. Unhoused.org aims to help people living on the streets to eventually find housing. Varun discovered quickly in his investment banking job that this wasn't the life he wanted to lead. He joined Hubble in the early days and saw all the stages of growth before leaving to create Magic with his colleague Sunil.  After overcoming many obstacles, they've now raised venture capital and will be releasing their product to the public soon! From Whisky and Kebabs To An AI Fitness Startup w/ Varun Bhanot | Magic

Today I am talking with Varun Bhanot who is the co-founder of Unhoused.org.  Unhoused.org is a social impact startup focused on using technology to help the homeless. Varun founded Unhoused.org after he recognised the rising problem of homelessness and wanted to use his tech skills to make an impact. Varun realised that many people don’t give money to homeless people because of doubts about where the funds might end up. So he set up Unhoused.org to link an everyday purchasing activity to positive impact - anyone can visit the online store and shop for clothing. For every piece bought, one is donated to a member of the homeless community.
