Episode 91: Backstage with IFBB Bikini Pro Aria Adamy Today we were joined by IFBB Bikini Pro Aria Adamy who opens up about her reformed relationships with body and food after her decade-long climb up from amateur into pro ranks. Aria discusses how she sought counseling for her mindset toward food and opened up about hormonal dysfunction as a result of overtraining, dieting, cardio, and contest preps. Hindsight is often 20/20, but when we are in the thick of it we usually put our blinders on. Sometimes it helps to hear it from someone who has been there to prevent someone else from making the same mistakes. This could be you want to gain more muscle, lose weight, or just want to feel more energized. But let's be honest. Sometimes binging comes knocking when you least expect it. If that happens, what should you do? Should you be militant about the macro counting process or should you just indulge? Let's find out.  In this episode, we sit down with Aria and she shares with us how she overcame the binge cycle and all the things she did to help her overcome the YOLO effect. We also speak about the amazing methods that helped her master macro counting. Finally, we have a conversation on whether you should stay lean all year long or you should put more weight at some point.  Aria Adamy is an IFBB Pro and a Pharmacist. The 38-year-old set about competing in 2012. She later earned her pro card in 2016 at 2016 NPC Teen, Collegiate, Masters Nationals. Aria's hard work and consistency have seen her successfully work with recognized brands such as MuscleEgg, CJ's Elite Suits, and Pro Tan.
